Ductile iron Metal to Metal Seat Gate Valve is one kind ofwater waters valves. Its simple design makes it one of the most common valvesin use. It can be applied to both liquid and gas services, although it ismostly used in liquid services. The gate valve was designed primarily foron-off service, where the valve is operated infrequently. It is not recommendedto partly open the valve for adjustment of flow rate or emergent pressurerelief blow-off.
