Ductile irondismantling joint is used to connect pipes or valves with flanges at both ends. Our ductile iron dismantling joint has the characteristics of adjustable lengthto facilitate field adjustment during on site installation.

There is 50mmtelescopic adjustment between double flange of our ductile iron dismantlingjoint. Adjust and lock the required adjustment through the connect bolt. Ourdismantling joint can be quickly dismantled and is very easy to service valves, pumps or instrument. It simplifies the time during the maintenance andalteration in the future pipeline and reduce the downtime in the entirepipeline project. Using only one wrench torque wrench to tighter high strengthsteel or stainless steel bolted connections is one of the most importantfeatures of this range product. In view of the above characteristics, thecustomer’s demand for product inventory has been reduced.

The nominaldiameter of RSF ductile iron dismantling joint ranges is from DN40 to DN2200,and the drilled flange and nominal pressure is PN10 \ PN16 \ PN25 \ PN40 \Class125 \ Class150. The customer has some special requirements for ourdismantling joint that can also be designed manufactured to meet customer requirements. Thesimplicity and versatility of RSF's ductile iron dismantling joint make themsuitable for many applications, including pumping stations, water treatmentplants, sewage treatment plants, plant rooms, instrument rooms, power generationequipment, gas stations and so on. Dismantling joint is well install andremove for isolation valve, control valve, check valve, check valve flowmeasurement valve, pump, pressure relief valve, flange pipe etc. Our ductileiron dismantling joint design and manufacturing in accordance with ISO9001: 2015, anti-corrosion materials through the most stringent WRAScertification, can be used for drinking water. Our dismantling joint coatedwith WRAS water certified epoxy powder coating, we provide excellent protectionfrom transportation, storage, on-site and corrosion damage. The zinc plated nutand bolt coating is used to provide long-term rust protection.

Step 1.Check thepackage and appearance of dismantling joint to ensure that it has not beendamaged during the transport and that no parts have been lost.

Step 2. Checkthe flange to which dismantling joint fits. Make sure it matches the bore ofthe product flange. Nominal pressure must be consistent.

Step 3. Removethe pull rod bolts from dismantling joint loosen the nut and take the pull rodbolts so that the pipe moves freely in the body of flange connection.

Step 4. Movedismantling joint between the flanges to be assembled. There is O-ring gasketbetween the flange and the flange for sealing. Use flange bolts to secure theflange end of dismantling joint fix the flange end which need attach. Screw thebolt tightly.

Step 5. Connectthe flange spigot to the opposite mating flange. Flange type O gasketsare     added between the flange faces and bolted togetherwith flange bolts.

Step6. Afterbolts connect flange, self sealing of dismantling joint put into the program. At first in the middle of rubber seals with lubricant to ensure that theintermediate flange and intermediate sealing ring slide to the location, andcheck the small self connection bolt gasket and nut.

Step 7. Insertthe pull rod bolts. (Note: if no rod bolts, the product is not limited. Eachrod has 4 nuts at assembly. When the pull rod is inserted, the bolt is connectedwith the nut. The pull rod bolt lever must be through the flanges at both endsof dismantling joint. Make sure that the length of the connector is equal tomeet the requirements of the flanges at both ends. The other nut tightening onthe joint after tightening rod nut so as to complete the installation.

Step 8.Evenlypress the bolt on the press in the alternating direction of the screw until itreaches the recommended torque. Wait ten minutes, then torque.

1.    The bolt isnot tight to meet the requirement torque.

2.    A small pieceof rock or debris between seals or gaskets.

3.    Dirt on boltsor nuts causes problems with nut fastening.

4.    The short distanceis inserted by the spigot pipe.

5.    Incorrectmating flange.
